The admin menu plugin for WordPress sticks key admin menu links to the top of your blog’s screen.

The menu will automatically appear to the top of your blog. Menu items will only be visible when relevant.

It’s quite useful for those who run their WP install as a CMS. When you create a static page using its New Page link, it will also set the new page’s parent automatically, to the ongoing page.

AmR Tab Menu Navigation WordPress Plugin »

The idea is to provide a navigation menu that looks like old tabs on the file folders – when you slid open the filing cabinet drawer there were the tabs on the files to guide you. The widget will list as many levels as you have however two or three looks the best. Four is okay. If you have a deeper structure, consider single level global navigation, plus a breadcrumb menu, with a fold pages style menu at the side. Only the siblings of the current ancestors are shown. It is intended to be styled horizontally.

* Uses a list of unordered lists of parent pages with minimal markup
* Provides default css styling (no spans for separators), with the option to switch the default styling off to use your own
* Uses wordpress sandboxplus flavoured css tags, so will pickup any general styling too, as well as allowing you to style the tab menu yourself.

Tested and Validated

The plugin has been tested on wordpress 2.5 and 2.6. The Css and the html produced have been validated by the w3c validator. The CSS has been tested on IE 7 and Firefox 2. It is fairly standard CSS. Please let me know if any problems are experienced.

If you have just widgetized your theme�s header, you may need to also switch off the list style for the high level ul. eg: div.sidebar ul { list-style-type: none; }. If your theme already allowed for widgets then hopefully it�s styling already provided a suitable style for all div�s of a class sidebar.

Big Big Menu provides a simple Admin interface for creating and re-ordering the main navigation menu on your blog. The menu can include any Pages, Categories, Author Pages, and Links that you’ve added to WordPress.

This plugin will work with any theme that uses wplistpages() to output the main navigation. You can also easily add the generated menu to your own custom theme.

Note The admin interface for this plugin requires a Javascript-enabled browser.

DL MENU WordPress Plugin »

The DL-MENU is a GUI component that generates a tab menu based on the pages you’ve created in WordPress. It also allows you to dynamically change the colorscheme of your whole website.

For this I’ve created a tool that connects to the Adobe Kuler API and downloads a bunch of color schemes that you can choose from. The whole Tab menu is customizable from font size to tab shadows and also support Video Ads instead of an header image.

The DL-MENU works together with the DL-Theme which is located in the ‘copy’ directory inside the plugin.

The DL-Theme is based on the Kubrick theme, the big difference is that it supports AJAX.

Suckerfish Dropdown Menu WordPress Plugin »

This plugin loads a suckerfish script for providing support for older browsers such as Internet Explorer 6. Must be used with an unordered list with a class of .sf-menu.

Note: Users upgrading from v1.6.6 should change to the PixoPoint Menu plugin instead. Version 2.0 of this plugin removes much of the functionality found in previous versions.

Page Menu Editor WordPress Plugin »

This plugin gives you two additional inputs when Writing or Modifying a Static Page. One is for the page’s menu label (anchor text), the other is for the title attribute within the link. By default, the content in the title box on the Write Page ‘supplies’ the page title, page header, menu label and title attribute. This plugin gives you more flexibility and will help to improve accessibility/usability.
