BuddyPress has three types of groups. Public, Private and Hidden. In all three cases users must be members of a group to participate in group forum conversations.
These two plugins modify a standard bbPress forum installation to allow BuddyPress group members to carry on discussions in bbPress.
BuddyPress public groups will be read only in bbPress. Anyone wishing to participate in a public group discussion must be a member of that group in bp.
BuddyPress private and hidden groups will be hidden in bbPress. Only members of these groups will see the forums and be able to participate.
BuddyPress group admins and mods have moderator privileges in bbPress. The moderator role is restricted to their group forum.

This plugin is for WordPress 2.6 and up. It enables WordPress to generate cookies that work with bbPress 0.9 so that single sign-on can be accomplished between the two. Follow the usual integration instructions and enable this plugin in your WordPress installation. I also advise clearing your cookies.
Necessary plugin functions were copied and pasted directly from WordPress 2.5.1 pluggable.php. Kudos to WordPress for making it easy!

When integrating bbPress and WordPress and using only the WordPress registration, no default role was assigned to the user in bbPress. This will give the user a role of member in bbPress. Just activate, and whenever a user signs up, they will automatically have the bbPress role assigned. Note: this is not retroactive; it is only for new registrations. bbPress Live allows the display of information from a bbPress 1.0 forum from inside a WordPress blog.
Specifically, it provides two new widgets:
* bbPress Forum List – Provides a list or table of forums
* bbPress Latest Topics – Provides a list or table of the latest topics
Each widget can be used multiple times, and configured individually.
There are also two functions for use in themes. These functions return a raw php array which can be manipulated inside the theme:
* bbpress_live_get_forums() – Provides an array of forums
* bbpress_live_get_topics() – Provides an array of the latest topics
bbPress Live can only connect to a bbPress forum running bbPress with a version of 1.0 or higher. The bbPress blog must have XML-RPC enabled in it’s settings.

Markdown syntax allows you to write using an easy-to-read, easy-to-write plain text format.
Markdown for WordPress and bbPress (Markdown-WPBB) is based on the famed PHP Markdown Extra by Michel Fortin, in turn based on the original Perl version by John Gruber. All I did was make the same package work with bbPress too. ^^

When a user logs in to WordPress, certain cookies are set in their browser which indicate to the server whether the user is logged in on subsequent page loads.
bbPress can be set up to have the ability to read the standard cookies created by WordPress to check whether a user is logged in and can grant the user access to bbPress based on these. The majority of this setup is done in the bbPress administration area via the “WordPress integration” settings page, but it is also necessary to setup this plugin so that WordPress can set a couple of extra cookies which are required.
This plugin is only useful if you are running bbPress version 1.0-alpha-4 or later.
